Chevon Wright: Annapolis, Maryland, USA

Yoga means connecting to my higher self and teaching others how to do the same. Learning how to heal and align ourselves spiritually, mentally and physically. My focus has and will continue to be geared towards minorities to enlighten them/us on the benefits of yoga and spiritual practices.

After having my second child in 2010, I felt a strong desire to find a holistic and spiritual approach in balancing the physical and mental everyday demands of motherhood, work, and marriage. In my spare time, I discovered and began practicing Tai Chi, which then introduced me to the art of yoga and meditation. After obtaining my BS in psychology in 2015, I aspired to use my spiritual gifts and mental wellness studies in assisting others on their journeys to holistic enlightenment.

I have since completed my 200-hour training in 2019 in Annapolis, MD. I have also received my Buti Yoga certification. I enjoy teaching vinyasa, linking movement to breath for both adults and children. I spend my days mentoring students on steps to connect to their higher self through the art of self-awareness, moving meditation, sound therapy, and energy tools. My style is known to be super soulful and fun, creating flows accessible to all.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and climbing trees.
