Merrisa Arnold-Stern: Lancaster, California, USA

I love sharing my practice, knowledge and rituals with my students and clients, and I am very passionate about sharing the beautiful practice of Yoga and mindfulness. My mission is to help others explore their Yoga practice, at their personal levels, so that they may be well and thrive. I love working with new and seasoned fitness practitioners and can tailor a class to suit your needs. The effects of yoga & exercise are life-changing but the process can also be fun.

Exercise internally brought me to Yoga around 2011. My target audiences for teaching are women and mothers, LGBTQ, and in general people who would otherwise not have Yoga accessible to them. I continue teaching because Yoga and mindfulness keep me grounded in a fast-paced world that can be overrun with stress and unloving feelings. I offer workshops themed with the seasons as well as therapeutic yogic approaches to injuries and physical pain. I have also studied yogic approaches to anxiety and depression. I’ve started offering Moon Sisters Yoga for all womyn, and a monthly Yoga Nidra during the transitional time of COVID-19 via Zoom
