Tianna Christine: Washington, DC, USA

I began practicing yoga in 2009 while searching for a low impact workout. It started as a great way for me to develop a routine for flexibility. Over time my practice evolved as a tool for stress and meditation. I loved yoga so much that I decided to teach and share the practice with others.

Yoga as a teacher means that I get to share my knowledge and gift of yoga with others to improve the well being of their lives. Yoga is beneficial in many aspects of life. I enjoy seeing the progress of my students with flexibility and confidence in their bodies. As a student, I carve out time for my personal practice by attending yoga classes and working on focus areas at home. My practice gives me a feeling of peace and energy.

I am a Yoga Alliance registered 200-hour yoga teacher, and I hold a certificate in children’s yoga. I was brought into yoga by curiosity and began learning about the yoga lifestyle. I am able to customize each class based on the audience for an enjoyable class experience for all. I specialize in teaching those new to yoga with private and group classes. I love my helping students further their journey into yoga. I consider myself a forever student.
