I specialize in teaching yoga to children. Children benefit enormously from yoga in the classroom through the practice of yoga poses, breathing techniques and meditation.
My focus is to empower communities to embrace healing practices in the face of stress and trauma, one person at a time. I founded Beautiful Authentic Life to help women self-liberate through breath work, yoga, and intuitive connection.
I am the owner of Blossom Health and Maternal Wellness and Yo Mama Collective, which together provide yoga and meditation for mothers, children, and families, both virtually and in-person.
As a teacher, I feel a responsibility to provide a safe, unique, fun experience to those I teach. As a forever student, I like the versatility.
I came to yoga as a self-care practice and as a challenge to overcome the inflexible possibilities of my body and mind. I was willing to be the only Black man doing yoga in my rough neighborhood. In many ways, it allowed me to express the audacity befitting any Black man actively practicing a form of self-care, especially in public, on a deck overlooking a neighborhood where self-destruction is more common. I saw it as a way of reminding people of their own power.
Yoga as a teacher means that I get to share my knowledge and gift of yoga with others to improve the well being of their lives. Yoga is beneficial in many aspects of life. I enjoy seeing the progress of my students with flexibility and confidence in their bodies.
Yoga means I can rest in the knowing that I have the power to manifest my visions in life, thrive over challenges, and accessibly empower others to do the same. I believe yoga is the basis of self-care, providing a galactic foundation for holistic health and wellness.
InnerG Juice and Yoga empowers self-awareness for empowered living. I want to build a community that supports the progress of its members through all phases of life. While we cannot stop life from happening, I offer healthy coping habits, for the bounce back that many need daily to continue succeeding at our dreams.
As both a teacher and a student, yoga means the same thing: To unite. To unite one’s mind with one’s body, and the ability to acknowledge the difference. My goal is to help people connect with themselves and find time to be still in a world that never stops.
After 30 years of corporate work, I teach yoga full time, partnering with Black community nonprofit agencies to bring the practice to nontraditional yoga spaces: churches, libraries, recreation/community centers, nursing homes and senior centers. Everyone should have access to this practice to be holistically well, empowered, and able to pursue their life’s purpose.
My yoga journey started over 20 years ago when my friend took me to a class. I loved it! I knew that I needed help with healing and learning self love. Yoga allowed me to sit with my stuff and gave me tools to move though my stuff.

To me yoga means unity, connecting and creating balance within the mind, spirit, and your physical being. I always consider myself as a student and practitioner because life is about growth. I continue to grow within life and as I teach each class.

I am a combat veteran with 19+ years of military service who surrendered to the trauma I experienced within my life. A complete breakdown gave way to the discovery of my true purpose – to heal physically, mentally, & spiritually so that I could share my passion & path to yoga with others.

I love sharing my practice, knowledge and rituals with my students and clients, and I am very passionate about sharing the beautiful practice of Yoga and mindfulness. My mission is to help others explore their Yoga practice, at their personal levels, so that they may be well and thrive.
In addition to being a Yoga instructor, I am a wife, mother, educator, and community activist. I am the co-founder of I AM: (a parenting resource and breastfeeding support organization) and wear many hats within my community.
I teach a sweet, slow, and sometimes strong style of moving through poses with breath. I integrate gentle vinyasa and restorative Yoga postures in addition to pranayama and meditation in my Yoga consults.
As husband and wife, we are partners in life and love. We specialize in the teaching and practice of Kemetic Yoga as a life tool to promote internal self healing.
I work to make Black and QTPOC communities aware that Yoga and Self-positive, holistic wellness is indeed open to them.
