Yoga means I can rest in the knowing that I have the power to manifest my visions in life, thrive over challenges, and accessibly empower others to do the same. I believe yoga is the basis of self-care, providing a galactic foundation for holistic health and wellness.
As a student, yoga represents freedom, and as a teacher, yoga represents the keys to freedom for others. Our biggest battles are internal. Yoga has allowed me to be the victor, and I long to offer that experience to my community.
I believe yoga is a major key to living a healthy well-balanced life and my goal is to help spread knowledge and awareness of its healing wonders to underprivileged communities and people who don’t ever get the opportunity to be exposed to it.
I believe the beauty of yoga starts once you arrive on your mat. On the mat, we learn “body intelligence.” We learn to breathe; we learn to sit in silence; we learn to sit through discomfort.
